First Niece and Sunshine

Today my first niece was born!!!  Her name is Hailey Jean and she weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz...and she is beautiful and perfect!  She looks a lot like her older brother did as a newborn.  I am so excited to be able to watch her grow...even though soon we will be so far away :(

Today was a beautiful day and Eben experienced his first backyard swimming pool.  He had a great time!  Unfortunately I didn't have my DSLR camera along, but the pics still turned out cute!

Also, I am VERY happy to report that Eben now sleeps through the night and boy does it feel good!  We did a little bit of "crying it out" which was tolerable because he didn't sob...just yelling crying, which is much easier to handle.  Now I have nothing to complain about when it comes to Eben...a great kid who is finally a great sleeper!
