We signed him up with a Co-op, which basically means that it is cheaper - and it's cheaper because the parents help run the place. I will be working during class about once a month (Bode and baby #3 will be taken care of by my other friends in the same situation) and I also have other duties such as a class job (I am class Photographer, which I was excited about!) and cleanup weekends 2x a year, and other various smaller duties. A commitment, but I think it will be worth it.
Eben LOVED his first day, had no problems with me leaving him, and did not poop. Why do I care about him pooping?? Well, potty training is in full force over here and he totally has peeing down (with an accident still here or there, but pretty darn good). Pooping is a different story - he has yet to go in the potty. FUN STUFF. So my fear was that he would go at preschool and if he does, I have to come and change him. I did decide to have him wear a pull-up just to make things a bit cleaner and probably will continue that until he gets this skill down. Really hoping for it to click soon!
Here are some pics of his preschool and his first day (well until we left him there to go play at a park with other friends):

Seriously LOVE this kid.

Eben's favorite thing to do - get in the storage box with all of the balls.

LOTS of trains and tracks to play with!

Drawing pictures with markers.

Here is Sofia - their other buddy!

This is Miles - Sofia's little brother and Bode's buddy

Making a mess of course.

Bode enjoying a little time outside at the preschool playground after saying goodbye to Eben.

The adorable, perfect little school.

The great playground Eben gets to play on after preschool on nice days.

Very cool looking school. Looks like Eben got a "first day of school haircut". Very cute pics again.

probably the coolest preschool building I've seen! I want to go to school there!
