Anyway, our wonderful news is (even though most/all of you know):
Although surprised at the news in May, we are very excited and feel so blessed to be incredibly fertile people ;) We WILL be finding out boy or girl this time (August 29th is the big day)! Our newest little one's due date is January 23rd.
And Eben turned THREE on the 27th of July! He is still in the 99th percentile in height, average weight, but his BMI is in the 3rd percentile. He is very tall and very skinny...too skinny actually. We have now started to feed him Pediasure to try to bulk him up a little.
Here are his 3 Year Pictures I took about 3 weeks ago - it took me until now to finally get them edited and I included every picture in this post. This shoot lasted about 20 minutes and I figured out that telling him to sit on a chair (etc.) and he will get a fruit snack worked like a charm! Also, saying, "Don't smile, Eben!" ALWAYS gets a smile out of him - whether genuine or silly.
Although Eben has many moments of typical three year old behavior, he is ultimately the sweetest, most energetic, adorable, giggly, compassionate little boy. He is everything I would ever ask for in a son and I feel so blessed to be able to call him my own. He LOVES trains of any kind, but also loves trucks, cars, machines, planes, balls, letters, numbers, animals, and really anything boy. He is the easiest child to get to hysterically laugh and he literally never stops moving. His silliness is absolutely my favorite thing about him...well and that he insists on giving us many rounds of hugs and kisses before he goes to sleep. He is a wonderful big brother to Bode (most of the time, haha) and loves him dearly. They share a room now and every night before they go to sleep, they giggle and "talk" to each other for at least an hour and it's the sweetest thing. I really could go on and on about everything I love about Eben...
