Our Life in Michigan...: 2 Months to Update

Wow, it has been over two months since I have posted! We went to Fargo late April and then in May I was obnoxiously busy with photo shoots - like totally overbooked myself and had no time to do anything but edit other peoples' photos, staying up late at night, getting behind on housework, and spending very little time with Dane (I posted 15 shoots in the month of may...15! That's an average of editing one session every other day...and keep in mind this is my SIDE job and I am also a stay-at-home-mom). Let's just say I have learned that I cannot do that to myself anymore so as of September, my schedule is much lighter and more bearable.

So I have a moment - one naptime before my next round of shoots this week to finally get a quick blog post up.

So of course we had a blast in Fargo in April and I posted some pics on Facebook from our trip, so I won't double up here. It was very busy and hard to leave when it was time to come back to Michigan. Two weeks surprisingly goes by so fast... I head to Fargo again with the boys but without Dane in July for a couple of weeks and I cannot wait!

Since being back in MI, I literally have filled my days with editing while the boys sleep, photo shoots multiple nights a week, and having fun outside with the boys during the day at play dates, etc. Here are some pics from the past month or so (very minimally edited because I simply don't have time to give them the attention I give to my clients' pics right now...sad):

These two guys have started wrestling now, haha.

Many days after naps we head over to a playground near our home that has some shade in the sand area. Both boys really like playing in the sand these days.

At the Arboretum in Ann Arbor, there is an area that has tons of peony bushes and we went while they were in full bloom. There was also an awesome place to walk in the trees through trails...reminded us of a movie.
