Merry Pseudo Christmas!

I say "pseudo" because it's not truly Christmas to us until we are with the big families...just didn't feel like Christmas this year yet, but give it a week and it's on!  Eben did a pretty good job opening his presents this year (although he did better as a 5 month old!) and really enjoyed playing with his toys afterward, of course:

 Christmas Eve
His first set of Matchbox cars from Gma and Gpa Jordet...which he just loves.

(About half of these gifts are from Gma and Gpa Jordet - the bought them while they were visiting here in October)

 Christmas Morning

This is Eben's new disgusted face...we see it a lot lately, haha.  (I don't think he was actually disgusted about anything here though)

I think he likes his new monkey...too cute.

Give it back!

He sees a stuffed animal, and do you see that little smile on his face?
 It's a "Wocket"

He fell in love with this while shopping in Kohls - and there's a matching book.

Eben's version of a hug when he feels lazy.
And his biggest gift from Gma and Gpa Jordet - a trike!  Eben had no idea what it was and liked walking on the box instead.  We will show him the awesomeness of the trike in the spring...unless we feel motivated to let him ride it around in our basement before then. (We FINALLY organized our basement by the way...on Christmas night...because I found Dane a used treadmill from a friend and we needed to make room for it!  He claims he's gonna use it, but we'll see, haha.)

  1. Hi!

I recently came across your blog and would like to talk to you about an article I wrote that I think you would enjoy (on early childhood education). I'd love it if you could drop me an email quick.
