Eben and his Toys

I LOVE that Eben is doing some imagination play lately.  It's so fun to hear him talk about what he is doing or to watch him set up his toys.  I am trying to make sure I capture plenty of the boys' toys and play in pictures and video so we and they can remember this part of their childhoods.  Here are just a few things:

Eben and his trains - oh how much he loves his trains.  We have the metal Thomas trains and, mostly because of Grandma Breker, he has a TON of them.  Last night he decided to make a REEAALLLYY long train.  So I encouraged him to use all of his trains.  Look at all of them!  Had the line been straight, they may have stretched all the way across the kitchen floor.  Lucky kids!

And here is "Cranky Cranky," a toy Eben has spent a lot of time with.  The other day he told me about 37 times, "Mommy, my building a building, Mommy!"  If you see the little stacked pieces by Cranky, that is what he was referring to.  He seriously worked on those throughout the day, building and rebuilding the "buildings".

Eben loves the kitchen he got from "Santa Claus."  He does not love that Bode can now stand up and reach his stuff though!

This is how the stove top looks on a regular basis.  I think I need to re-teach him a little bit about how it works, huh.  He gets upset if I start taking stuff off to show him though, haha.
