Mother's Day

Well, it's safe to say that this year's Mother's Day was 100x better than last year's...as last year I was spending my first Mother's Day in the hospital recovering from a very painful and terrible bowel obstruction.  This year no hospital, one of my best friends Leah had her first baby (a girl!) in the morning, and it was a perfect day outside! Dane worked until 3:30 (off earlier than planned!)...so no breakfast in bed, sleeping in, or family brunch, but I did manage to spend a lot of time with the boys (a typical day).  I recently discovered Gallup Park in Ann Arbor which has two playgrounds, the Huron River, geese, swans, ducks, and a 1.75 mile walking trail...just beautiful.  So me and the boys played and then walked and when Dane came home we went back there and played and walked again.  It was fantastic.

A "nunnel" as Eben calls it...meaning tunnel of course.

 Loving the stroller.
And here are more snapshots of the little man.
