So yesterday Eben and I ventured out and took our first walk of the season OUTSIDE! Temps here were upper 40's and sunny. It felt amazing to be out and Eben absolutely loved seeing all of the dogs out on walks too, barking at each one he saw.
Also, Eben had his 18 month appt a bit ago and he is in the 95th percentile for height, not surprisingly.
We set up Eben's big boy bed (a twin) last weekend in his room. He is still going to be in his crib for a while, but we read stories on his new bed and he climbs/jumps/plays on it.
Also, I LOVE Eben's sleep habits lately. For more than a month, he has consistently been going to sleep at 7pm, waking up between 8:15am and 9am, AND still taking 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 hour naps. Let's just say I am taking full advantage of sleeping when he sleeps cause I know that when baby #2 comes sleep for me will change drastically.
Eben got a pair of sunglasses from Grandma and Grandpa Breker for V-day (among other things). Surprisingly he actually enjoys wearing them!
No sunglasses, but loving his elephant.
And here are some pics of Eben with his buddy Colby - a playdate he had last week. Dane just happened to be home that day cause of a weird unexpected work schedule change. I was so happy that he could see Eben interact with a friend as he doesn't get to see that very often. These boys are just too cute together.
Colby smothering Eben with a blanket, haha.
Colby tackling Eben - oh boys...
Eben giving Colby a "hug" - Eben's hugs are him tilting his head into you...no arms involved yet.
Colby has Eben in a headlock.
Nice hugs...
